How to order with NDIS funding

  1. 1

    Choose your products

Search the range or paste your list into the portal’s instant matcher, then add products to a price request. Not sure? Send your OT’s report.

  2. 2

    Tell us about the plan

Add the participant, how the plan is managed and the delivery details. Nothing is charged when you send a request.

  3. 3

We confirm and keep you updated

Our team confirms suitability and price, sends a formal quote, and keeps you updated as the order progresses.

What happens next

Self-managed

We send the invoice to you and any other contacts you give us. You can use the invoice to claim before paying us, or pay directly and claim reimbursement afterwards.

Plan-managed

We send the invoice to your plan manager, with a copy to you and any other contact provided. Your plan manager takes care of the payment.

NDIA-managed

The plan start and end dates you give help us confirm the order against the current plan. Joy Ours then handles the payment request directly with the NDIA.

NDIS questions

Can I use NDIS funding for any product?+

Not every product is covered under every plan, and we can’t confirm whether an item can be paid from your funding. We can help with suitability, pricing and quotes; eligibility depends on your plan and how it is managed. Higher-cost or higher-risk equipment may need written advice or an assessment first — check with your plan manager, support coordinator or OT.

Do I need an OT recommendation?+

Not always. Simple, low-cost, low-risk items may not need one; more complex or higher-cost equipment may need advice or supporting evidence from an OT or another qualified assistive technology advisor.

Can someone else order for me?+

Yes. A family member, carer, OT, support coordinator or someone else can send the request on a participant’s behalf.

Can NDIS funding be used for home modifications?+

Yes. Eligible home modifications may be funded where the changes relate to the participant’s disability and meet NDIS requirements.

What if my funding isn’t approved?+

If your funding isn’t approved or there isn’t enough available, we contact you before the order is processed and talk through the options. If an invoice needs changing, get in touch and we can reissue it.
