Sold in pairs, bed side rails are designed to assist in situations where a person is at risk of falling out of bed or needs some additional support to reposition themselves whilst in bed. The bed side rails fold down toward the foot end of the bed, using the quick release mechanism, to ensure they do not impede patient care or getting in and out of the bed.
