About this product
Made for people who need help drinking without spills, this blue care cup holds 450 mL and can be set up three ways. Drink through a straw, take thickened fluids through the wide spout, or take small sips through the slit spout, all from the same cup and lid.
Inside is a food-grade 304 stainless steel liner, wrapped in a PP shell, and the lid has a silicone seal. You get a 35 cm straw and a 14 cm straw, and the long one can be clipped back to the lid when it isn't needed. Lid, straws and spouts come apart for washing, and brushes for the straw and cup are included.
This is the blue version. Its lid, straws, spouts and capacity are the same as the open-handle and ergonomic-handle care cups; the three differ in the look of the outer shell and the handle design.

How is the blue cup different from the other care cups?
Only the outer shell and handle design differ. The open-handle and ergonomic-handle versions share the same 450 mL stainless steel inner, lid, straws and spouts.
Which spout is for thickened fluids?
Use the wide spout for thickened fluids and the slit spout for small sips. If the user has swallowing difficulties, follow their speech pathologist's advice on which spout and fluid to use.
Can it be heated or microwaved?
No. Don't put it in a microwave, oven, sterilising cabinet or on induction heating. The cup is rated from −20 °C to 120 °C.
What comes with the cup?
A long straw, a short straw, a gravity ball, two spouts, a straw brush and a cup brush.
How long are the straws?
The long straw is 35 cm and the short straw is 14 cm, both food-grade silicone.
