About this product
This adaptive fork has a thick 3.2 cm handle with a textured, non-slip surface, so there is more to hold than on a standard fork. An adjustable silicone strap goes around the hand and keeps the fork in place, which helps people who can't keep a firm grip on ordinary cutlery.
You can turn the stainless steel fork head through 360° on the handle and fix it at the angle that works, then bend the metal neck to bring food up to the mouth comfortably. The handle unscrews to take a weight inside for anyone who prefers a heavier utensil, and the fork can be set up for either hand.
With a 2.7 cm wide head, the fork weighs about 99 g. It matches the adaptive spoon, spork and knife, which share the same 25 cm length, handle and strap, so the user can have a full set that works the same way.
