About this product
This adaptive knife gives people with a weak or unreliable grip a way to cut food without clutching a thin handle. The 3.2 cm textured, non-slip handle fills the hand, and an adjustable silicone strap holds the knife in place so it doesn't slip as you cut.
The 1.9 cm wide stainless steel blade sits on 11.5 cm of metal and turns through 360° on the handle, so you can set the blade at the angle that suits your hand and fix it there. The handle also unscrews to take a weight inside, and the knife works in either hand.
Alongside the matching adaptive fork, spoon and spork, which share its 25 cm length, handle and strap, the knife completes a set. It weighs about 100 g, close to the fork at about 99 g, and its blade is the narrowest head of the four.
