About this product
This adaptive spoon is built for people who find a standard spoon hard to grip or steer. Its 3.2 cm handle is thick, textured and non-slip, and an adjustable silicone strap wraps around the hand to keep the spoon in place when grip is weak.
The 4 cm stainless steel bowl sits on an 11.5 cm metal neck that you can bend, and the head turns through 360° and locks at the angle you choose. That lets you set the spoon so it reaches the mouth at a comfortable angle. If a heavier spoon suits the user, the handle unscrews to take a weight inside.
Of the four strapped utensils in the range, the spoon has the widest head and, at about 110 g, is the heaviest. The matching fork, spork and knife use the same 25 cm length, handle and strap, and all four work in either hand.
