About this product
This overbed table has a split top: a large section that tilts for reading, writing or a tablet, and a smaller fixed section that stays level for a drink, glasses and other small things. The single post is offset to one side, so the base slides under a compatible bed or chair and the top comes over your lap.
Set the top anywhere between 73 and 125 cm to suit the bed, a recliner or an armchair. Four castors let you roll it into place and push it away when you get up. The tabletop has a warm woodgrain look that suits a bedroom or lounge room, the frame is powder-coated, and the table weighs 9.4 kg.
Compared with the EKT2081, this top is a little smaller (82 × 38 cm against 90 × 45 cm) but goes higher and tilts. If you mainly need a large flat surface that wipes clean, that table may suit you better.
