About this product
This commode wheelchair puts a commode seat on a wheeled frame with large 22-inch (about 56 cm) rear wheels and 5-inch front castors. The user can propel it themselves or be pushed, and it has a padded backrest and armrests for everyday toileting support at home. It supports up to 125 kg.
The seat is glass-fibre reinforced polypropylene with a PU cover, and the backrest is reinforced PP with an EVA pad. PE armrests give the user something to hold and lean on. The aluminium frame, built from 25.4 mm tube, has a beige powder-coat finish that resists rust.
Before choosing, think about how the user moves on and off the seat and whether they have the arm strength to wheel themselves. An occupational therapist or health professional can advise whether this chair suits the user and how to use it safely.
