About this product
These forearm crutches come as a pair, and each weighs 0.8 kg. A spring shock absorber built into each crutch helps cushion every step and reduce jarring through your hands and arms. Each crutch also comes apart into three pieces, so the pair packs down for the car, a suitcase or a cupboard.
Shaped forearm cuffs and soft TPR hand grips give a comfortable hold. Elastic straps keep the crutches on your arms when you let go of the grips for a moment to open a door or use your phone. Reflectors on the front and back of each cuff make you easier to see in dim light, and rubber tips with steel inserts grip everyday surfaces.
Ten height settings cover 98.5 to 121.5 cm, which suits users roughly 150 to 185 cm tall, and the safe working load is 100 kg. Your OT or physiotherapist can set the height and advise whether forearm crutches suit your recovery.
