About this product
This shower chair has a cut-out in the seat, so the user can wash intimate areas while staying seated instead of standing or shifting position. Soft EVA pads on the seat add comfort and grip, and drainage holes let water run through. It has a padded backrest and foam-covered armrests, and supports up to 100 kg.
Five height settings move the seat from 43 to 53 cm. The legs are powder-coated aluminium with non-slip rubber feet, and the whole chair weighs 3.18 kg, so it is easy to lift out of the shower. Push-button connections mean it goes together, and comes apart, without tools.
With an overall width of 38 cm and length of 64.5 cm, it is a narrow chair for tighter showers. Note the 100 kg weight limit; heavier users may need a chair such as the EKC356, rated to 130 kg. An occupational therapist can advise on fit.
