About this product
This shower chair has a wide 49 × 37 cm seat with a moulded backrest and raised armrests, giving room to sit comfortably and a firm place to hold when sitting down or standing up. It supports up to 130 kg.
Four height-adjustable legs set the seat between 49 and 59 cm. That starts about 10 cm higher than a chair such as the foldable model (39.5–49.5 cm), so it can suit taller users or anyone who finds a low seat hard to rise from. Drainage holes in the seat and slots in the backrest let water run through, and the smooth moulded surfaces wipe clean.
The aluminium frame has a white powder-coated finish. There is 50 cm between the armrests, and the chair takes up 54 × 55 cm of floor space, with an overall height of 82–92 cm. An occupational therapist can advise if this seat height suits the user.
