About this product
This scoop bowl is made for people who find an ordinary bowl hard to manage, especially when eating with one hand or with reduced hand strength or coordination. The high side curves inwards, so food is guided back onto the spoon instead of slipping over the edge, while a lower front edge gives the spoon an easy way in.
Underneath, a food-grade silicone suction base holds the bowl on smooth, flat surfaces, so it doesn't slide about as you scoop. The whole bowl weighs about 85.5 g including the base, and it is microwave safe, so a meal can be reheated without moving it to another dish. The smooth plastic is easy to wash after meals.
For flatter meals, the matching Suction Scoop Plate (18.5 cm) sits on a suction base of the same size. The Suction Bowl with Handle is a different design: a 500 mL melamine bowl with a side handle rather than a scoop rim.
