About this product

This transfer and walking belt fastens around the user's waist and has seven handles, four horizontal and three vertical, so a carer can hold from any side when helping someone stand, sit, transfer or walk. Detachable leg straps stop the belt riding up. It has a safe working load of 150 kg.

The 11 cm wide waist band is lined with breathable 3D mesh over a soft foam layer. A webbing strap and buckle adjust the fit, and the two leg straps, with fabric covers, clip on with buckles and can be adjusted or removed. Stitching is reinforced at the seams and load points.

It comes in M (66–84 cm waist), L (79–104 cm) and XL (99–120 cm). If you would prefer thicker, padded handles, the EK-A100 is the upgraded version in sky blue. An occupational therapist or health professional can advise on safe transfer technique.
