About this product

These underarm crutches come as a pair, with a light aluminium alloy frame and a warm woodgrain finish picked out with fluorescent green accents. They are made for people moving around after a lower-limb injury or surgery while following the weight-bearing advice they have been given. Cushioned underarm pads and comfortable hand grips make day-to-day use more pleasant.

Push buttons set the overall height across nine positions, from 113 to 133 cm, and the hand grip position adjusts separately, so the underarm height and grip height can each be set for you. An oversized, reinforced three-way connector adds strength where the upper frame meets the lower tube. Non-slip TPR rubber tips grip everyday walking surfaces.

Unlike the Enjoycare forearm crutches, which hold your arm in a cuff, these have a pad at the top that sits under the arm and a hand grip lower down. The safe working load is 100 kg. An OT or physiotherapist can help set the height correctly and advise whether underarm or forearm crutches suit you.
