About this product
The Hero Car Seat from Hernik is a specifically modified car seat from Römer-Britax to accomodate the postural requirements of special needs children. It is suitable for installation in most commercially available vehicles that have an ISOFIX connection. The ISOFIX anchorage system provides a secure and easy-to-use attachment to the vehicle. The Hero Car Seat can also be easily adjusted to suit your child’s unique needs. The inner padding developed by Hernik ensures optimal positioning, especially for small children, and can be complimented with an abduction wedge and thoracic pads if necessary. As standard, the Hero is fitted with a 5-point seat belt to protect the child, and the quick-release buckle provides an easy and fast transfer.

Can I buy this with NDIS funding?
Yes, if your plan funds it. Joy Ours is a registered NDIS provider. We quote and invoice every kind of NDIS plan. For some equipment the NDIS wants an OT’s advice first. Send it with your request and we quote to match.
Can Support at Home, DVA or TAC pay for it?
It can. We quote through your Support at Home provider. We also quote for TAC, DVA, insurers and private buyers. The provider or scheme decides what it pays for, so check with them before you order.
