This shower chair gives you a seat with a backrest and two armrests, so you can sit down to shower instead of standing the whole time. When you have finished, the frame folds away, which helps in bathrooms where there is no spare corner to leave a chair. It weighs 4.5 kg and supports up to 150 kg.
The legs adjust to five heights, giving a seat height between 39.5 and 49.5 cm to suit the user and the shower floor. The armrests give you something to hold as you sit and stand, and the legs stand on non-slip foot pads. The seat is shaped to make personal washing easier while you stay seated, and it cleans with warm water and mild detergent.
Opened out, the chair is 57 cm wide, 61 cm deep and 69–79 cm tall, with a 44.5 cm wide seat. Measure your shower recess before ordering, and ask an occupational therapist if you are unsure whether this chair suits the user.
