About this product
This shower chair combines a backrest and padded armrests with a seat that rotates. You can turn the seat to 0°, 90°, 180° or 270° and lock it there, so the user can face the taps or a carer without moving the whole chair. It supports up to 150 kg.
The armrests give a secure hold when sitting down and standing up, and four aluminium legs with non-slip rubber feet adjust for a seat height of 40–48 cm. A holder for a handheld shower head is included, so the water stays within reach while seated. At 4.2 kg, the chair is easy to move out of the shower, and the smooth surfaces wipe clean with mild detergent.
Setting up needs no tools: the legs, armrests and backrest join with push-button connections. The seat is 33 × 33 cm and the chair takes up 57 × 45 cm of floor space, so check your shower size. An occupational therapist can advise whether a swivel seat suits the user's transfers.
